  The 4th Kenpachi Tournament Registration

Welcome to the registration of the 4th Kenpachi tournament!

Do you have what it takes to become the next kenpachi and hold the title of KENPACHI? Join this tournament and prove yourself worthy, this tournament will consist of 3/5 sets, where you will fight an opponent in private battles with war rules, whoever wins the first 3 out of 5 battles advances to the next round.

The current holder of the The Kenpachi title is AusBee , Whoever wins this tournament will win the Kenpachi title and take it from him.

Rules:
- Account Sharing is Strictly forbidden
- All matches will be 3/5
- Each player will ban 4 characters in private DM's before starting. (You may also choose to ban no character, or less than 4).
- No full teams (no having 3 stunners, affliction, heal, counter, AoE, Drain in 1 team)..
- In case someone uses a banned character or full team, Screenshot the match for proof (timestamp required). The winner of the match is then able to determine if they take the win or give rematch.
- No repeating characters (for example; You can only use Renji once per set).
- No copying teams (2 out of 3 characters of your opponents team. If they use Ichigo + Rukia, you cannot use them in the same team)
- If the game bugs, please DM Leaderfirestar and explain fully, he can then determine if a rematch is rewarded.
- If you leave in the middle of a set, you have 24 hours left to come back.
- No screenshot = no proof.
- If your opponent used a banned character you still have 24 hours after the set to claim the win, if your opponent until then starts their next match, you're not allowed to claim it anymore and it's your fault for not noticing.
- Forfeiting without having played will ban you from all future events

Welcome to Good Mid-Ladder Menace Morning! This is a segment where I chronicle all of my battles before noon for review and entertainment.


11/28, First battle:
Opponent: LordGeovanni, Privaron Espada
Result: Win, all characters dead
Teams used: Me: Ukitake, Fullbring Hime, Chrysalis Aizen, Geo: Orihime, Hichigo, Ururu
Thoughts: I got lucky. Ururu is a deadly stunner, and I saw the setup coming multiple times, but Ukitake is a really good counter with his thunder water seal. Aizen really didn't need to die, but by the time he died he had served his purpose. Hichigo and hime had 2 effects each and ururu had just added a fifth, and I removed all of them, which was great, but that came at the cost of not refreshing the dd. Then it was damage buffs and pinpointed strikes to victory.

Buffs:

 - Ikkanzaka Jiroubou

  • "Flap Away, Tsunzaki Garasu" class changed to instant
  • "Armor of Shuriken" no longer resets the stacks of "Flap Away, Tsunzaki Garasu"
  • While statistically not the worst character in the game, he consistently makes the "not-top-ten" list. I believe the stacks resetting to 0 to be just a bit too harsh for this guy. Imagine if Res Yammy lost all of his buffs after his enraged form ended. Now, This guy's "Butcher" can do relevant damage later and you aren't punished for tanking up

 - Kidou Kira
  • "Binding Spell #39: Arc Shield" cooldown reduced to 2
  • With his already high cooldowns, it feels like he does nothing most of the game. This should help

 - Sasori
  • "Puppet Master" cost changed to free
  • This should make getting him going a little less painful

 - Senbonzakura
  • Enemies affected by "Mawscape" will now take 5 additional damage from "Slaughterscape" and "Scatter"
  • He's slow damage initially, but "Scatter" allows him to ramp up. "Mawscape" should also help that goal

 -  Tatsuki
  • "Fighting Spirit" now grants 5 damage reduction to the target
  • She's a support character who on paper looks great for picking an enemy and letting her team benefit from hitting them. This should help bolster the ally of her choice

- Zommari Leroux
  • "Sovereignty" damage type changed to affliction (from physical)
  • Small buff that makes using "Suppress, Brujeria" that much more worth it.


Nerfs:

 - Chrysalis Aizen
  • "Kidou Removal" now works correctly. To clarify, take Yamamoto's first skill. If he removes this skill, he should now deal 5 (+10 if no dd) damage to all enemies. Prior to this, he was dealing damage based on all effects removed. In the case of Yamamoto's first skill, there's more than 1 effect applied, and by extension, Chrysalis has been dealing a lot more damage than expected in some cases.
  • To further clarify, this skill now deals damage based on the skills removed, but only one damage per skill. Let's say you have 3 stacks of kira's first skill on you. If you use "Kidou Removal," this will only count as removing 1 skill.
  • Wording on "Kidou Removal" has been tweaked to better explain it

 - Hollow Ichigo
  • "Hunt!" cost increased to 1 random
  • I got a little carried away last patch, 2 meta teams with him emerged, then everybody used those teams. I have a couple of other things I can do to this guy, but starting with this seems like a logical step

 - Hollow Tousen
  • "Destructive Spell #54: Abolishing Flames" no longer ignores invulnerability
  • Speaking of that meta team, here we have a character who has always been a high tier character. Built in invulnerability, a 30 damage affliction skill that doubles as a way to remove afflictions from your team, healing, and another invul skill. I'm not convinced this is enough for him, but it's a start in the right direction

 - Pre-Ascension Aizen
  • "Hogyoku Fusion" cooldown increased to 4 (up from 0)
  • This guy always has Hogyoku fusion active, since he could always restart it whenever it ended. Now there's a 1 turn buffer there. Also, countering strategic skills on this guy is now a lot more damaging, since they spent 2 random to get their bonuses and then have to wait 4 turns if it's countered

 - Tenken
  • "Inferno Assault's" permanent affliction damage now starts the following turn
  • 40 affliction damage at once is a lot. This nerf makes it so it does 40 over 2 turns instead of 55

 - Tobiume
  • "Snap" now deals 15 damage (+ 10 damage if marked) to the target. If that target uses a new harmful, non-strategic skill, they will be marked
  • A staple in a lot of aoe/affliction teams, Tobiume has been strong since release. Prior to this, every time she uses snap, she removes the mark and reapplies it for free in the same move. On top of that, using any skill would cause you to take 5 damage. Those 2 things were a bit oppressive. Dealing 15 aoe damage that ignores invul is still good, she's just less infuriating to play against now

Random tip: Vizard masks count the number of skills they have used (so you can tell when they will transform). This includes Shinji. If you watch that, you'll notice when he uses a skill. Use this to your advantage to know when he has used his second or third skill

Noteworthy Bug Fixes:
  • Ikkanzaka Jiroubou's "Armor of Shuriken" is no longer coded as an action
  • Ikkanzaka Jiroubou's "Armor of Shuriken" will now actually damage enemies like it says it will
  • Skills Murumasa copies should now be able to be used, regardless of if a prep is typically needed (Think Final Form Uryu)
  • Fixed several issues dealing with characters who cannot be killed being killed
  • Matsumoto's stun effect from "Ash Tornado" now works like an action
  • Hisagi's "Reap, Kazeshini" now displays an indicator when it ends or is triggered
  • Hopefully fixed the "still in game, wait 2 minutes" issue
  • Fixed obscure interaction preventing enemies affected by "Cry, Zabimaru" from being able to be targeted by "Coil, Zabimaru"
  • Removing Mayuri's "Rip, Ashiogi Jizou" before it stuns will no longer cause the affected character to take 10 affliction damage and be stunned
  • Fixed heal logic to (hopefully) address issue causing them to resurrect once and for all
  • Added another place to round decimal numbers to prevent Kenpachi from crashing the game while "Bloodlust" is active

  Butterfly Aizen mission

Hi all,

I was wondering what's a good team with ascended aizen?

He has good counter/reflect skills and can instantly kill an enemy if their health is under 20 but not good offensively. I need 50 wins and this may take a while.

Should I use all 3 Aizens I have as a team? (including the chrysalis and the pre-ascension) or use a different team?

Buffs:

 - Arturo Plateado

  • "The Immortal Fenix" cost changed to 1 random energy
  • "Cross Clash" cost changed to 1 random energy
  • "Close-Range Reiatsu" cost changed to 1 random energy, now increases cost of "Spark of Genius" by 1 random
  • "Spark Of Genius" cost changed to no cost
  • Since the dude's release, I don't think he's had a win rate above 10%. He's a lot like Wabisuke in that he has needed some love for a long time. I'm not 100% sure this will do what he needs, but aside from a full re-work (which I did not have the time for this patch), this is what I can do for him now

 - Bankai Unohana
  • "Minazuki: Blood Strike" duration increased to 2 turns, damage increased to 20
  • "Skull Body" cooldown lowered to 3
  • Bankai Unohana's gimmick has always been situational and un-reliable. These changes should allow her to take advantage of her strong third skill. One thing worth noting, if your enemy is affected by "Bankai, Minazuki," They ignore healing, meaning they'd only take the 55 damage from "Minazuki, Perish." If you report that as a bug, I'm going to tell you "you're an idiot"

 - Findorr Calius
  • "Mask Shattering" can no longer be removed
  • Not a lot to say for Findorr. His gimmick is gimmicky, this is just a nice quality of life adjustment for him to not get cucked before the enemy team uses their skills

 - Hollow Ichigo
  • "Predatory Instincts" now becomes "Hunt" for 3 turns instead of 2
  • "Hunt" cost changed to no cost
  • Y'all remember watching Hollow Ichigo Battle it out with Ulquiorra and thinking "Damn, this dude's fucking awesome!?" Do you remember getting on soul arena and trying to use him, only to be disappointed that his 1v1 capabilities are dog shit? Maybe I was the only one. Either way, Predatory Instincts is a strong skill that has trouble in Hollow Ichigo's kit. With the self damage, you want to use hunt to heal, but you don't want to spend a red and a random to have access to a skill that needs another red to use. This should make it a bit more worth-while

 -  Kirikaze
  • "Surge's" effects are no longer conditional. He heals and gains the energy
  • "Gale Force" cooldown reduced to 4
  • I'm not 100% sure this is everything the character needs. I think he has a good kit, and I'm hopeful this helps him a bit

 - Suzumebachi
  • "Swiftness" cooldown lowered to 4
  • I'm not sure if Starrk fell asleep coding her or if he just hates her, but she didn't deserve a 5 turn cd for invul. She needs more than this, but this was an easy change that didn't pressure me to think. I'm only human, give me a break!

 - Tsukishima
  • "Book of the End" cost changed to no cost
  • Don't you remember? Tsu talked to us about how it isn't fair that he has to spend an energy to close his book. I wasn't 100% convinced, but you know Tsu. It's hard to say "no" to him, and he wasn't being un-reasonable

Nerfs:

 - Bankai Renji
  • "Baboon King, Zabimaru can now be countered and reflected. Re-introducing his effect from old SA, where while this skill is active, if he is damaged by a new, non-affliction skill, he will deal 5 less non-affliction damage for a turn (can only be triggered once per turn)
  • "Reform" will no longer damage characters who damage him
  • This dude, since this SA launched over 2 years ago, has needed a nerf. He recieved one that lowered the duration of "Baboon King, Zabimaru" to 4, and he has since avoided nerfs for what I can only assume is because of his good looks. He has been in many top-tier war teams and ladder teams, and I think we're all a little tired of seeing him. He's still playable by all means, but if he's being focused, his damage output will drop a bit

 - Butterfly Aizen
  • "Destructive Spell #90: Black Coffin" No longer ignores invulnerability
  • "Impossible Regeneration" no longer heals him for 5 health when he's targeted
  • I really thought the nerf I gave this fucker last patch was good enough, but he remained in the top 5 most-used characters this last patch, and his winrate remained close to 80%. As such, he gets nerfed again. I'm aware of a couple of meta teams he's on, and I'm hoping this nerf brings the train to a halt. If it doesn't, you won't like the next nerf I have in mind

 - Numb Chandelier
  • "Darts Shooter" (Why the fuck not Dart Shooter?) can now be countered/reflected
  • Why? Cause fuck her, that's why! In all seriousness, nerfing damage on her will make her next to useless and I still want her to be decent as she's a starter character. That said, With Bankai Renji likely stepping down from the position of "Most obnoxious character to face," I figured I'd hit the next of kin

 - Orihime
  • "Triple Heavenly Linking Shield" destructible defense lowered to 20
  • We had a couple of ideas to nerf her, but most of the things considered were what I feel are just nice bonuses of bringing her along, not where her actual strengths are. This should help with the problem of her being the exclusive support choice (other than maybe child nel). 20 dd and 10 heal for 2 people is still strong

 - Renji
  • "Howl, Zabimaru" can now be countered and reflected
  • Fuck this guy too. Another staple of some cancer teams. He'll still work, you just have to pay attention

Tweaks:

 - Bankai Mayuri
  • "Superhuman Drug" Now only raises the cost of skills by 1 blue (reverted), text clarified and skill updated to increase the cost of all skills, not just non-strategic
  • I really need some of what was being drank when we decided that increasing the cost of all skills by 2 blue was a good idea. However, Macapis got hit by it twice with his Bankai Gin, meaning he would need at least 8 blue to use a skill to remove the effect, which was funny as hell. I'm not certain Bankai Mayuri even really needed buffed, he's slept on in my opinion. If he does need attention though, there are better way to go about it and I'll explore those if he shows signs of needing it

Noteworthy bug fixes (both during this patch and in the update itself):

Counters: I was going through trying to fix Ascended Aizen's counter and discovered an issue that was affecting all counters in game. You older frogs might remember the invuln meta (may it continue resting in hell) where Ukitake's s2 wouldn't show up as used. As it turns out, this wasn't just a shared delusion, but an actual issue, as for the same reason, sometimes counters wouldn't deal damage to enemies, or worse yet, in case where the countered enemy was invulnerable, the counter would stay applied to them and the skill they used would just "disappear" and take the energy cost with it. This should be fixed, and there should be less funny business with them
  • Ascended Aizen's "Erasure" Can now not be used while active (like the skill says). This bugfix is basically a nerf for him, hence why you didn't see him above
  • Res Harribel's "Hyper Cascada" No longer behaves like an instant
  • Inner Ichigo's "Inner Ichigo Combat" was not reducing the duration of strategic skills used on your team. This applies to many skills, including Koutotsu's "Time-Space Distortion" and Byakuya's "Binding Spell #61: Six-Rods Prison of Light"
  • Hozukimaru's "Empowered Slash" correctly prevents him from using his skills for a turn
  • Inner Ichigo's "Inner Ichigo Combat," "White Getsuga-Tensho," and "Hollow Consumption" will now damage Inner Ichigo if they are reflected back to him
  • Hueco Mundo Byakuya Now removes all stuns as advertised instead of just the first stun that hits him
  • Butterfly Aizen's "Black Coffin: Full Enchant" No longer lasts an extra turn on all enemies, only enemies affected by his "Shatter Displacement"
  • Runuganga's "Sand Vortex" Now correctly ends when he's stunned and cannot be used on an enemy already affected.
  • Yadomaru Lisa's "Spinning Bird Kick" Can no longer be reflected (as the skill states it shouldn't)
  • Hirako Shinji's "Sword Rotation" Can no longer be countered or reflected (does what the skill says)
  • Inner Ichigo's Ally Takeover now changes his skills correctly, consistently. It also ends if his target is killed so he can keep playing.
  • Inner Ichigo's Enemy Takeover now changes his skills correctly if he kills his target, consistently. It also ends if his target is killed so he can keep playing
  • Wabisuke's "Shoulder the Weight" no longer crashes the game
  • Adult Nel's "Lanzador Verde" no longer increases in cost if she has more than one stack of "Declare, Gamuza" active
  • Kon's stun is no longer coded as a "Helpful" effect
  • Tons of tooltip typos addressed

Photo In game error

I'm getting this error just like the other person now, it says "You are still ingame! Try in 2 minutes" (all written in red) . I've logged in and out numerous times and its been going on for over 3 hours now.

I really don't want to reset my account, do I need to uninstall the Unity software from my laptop and re-install it from the dropbox link again? (will this mess up my data from my previous download).

How do I fix this issue? It seems like it's been happening to a few people now.

  Which mission to start with?

Hi All,

I recently started this game now and I haven't played since the original version back like 5-6 years ago (or maybe even longer), I tried to use my old S-A.net username & password from the previous version but it no longer works, I noticed the characters & skills are all the same as the old one (some with added features and some new mission).

Anyways, since its been a few years and Flash is no longer active anymore (like it used to be back in the day). I've downloaded the PC version of it and am now playing on my Windows laptop. I wanted to know which mission is the easiest to start with?

Also, all the old data from the previous version is gone right? If I remember correctly, I think I had over 30+ characters unlocked in the old S-A.net, is there a way to retrieve this?
